After you have been contacted by the charity organization that you have chosen, then you can proceed to the final step which is to make arrangements for the car to be picked up. It may take anywhere between two to seven days before the towing company shows up at your door steps.  However, you don’t have to worry about any cost of pick up, as these costs will be settled by the charity organization. In other words, there will be no cost to you, as all the costs will be borne by the charitable organization. Nonetheless, the charity organization will send you a receipt, as well as other documentation that you will definitely need for tax purposes. This documentation you will get in a matter of days. Giving to charity is always a great idea, as you will be helping the less fortunate and it’s for a worthy cause.
